FAQ – Virtual Recovery Coaching

Q: Is this the same as massage therapy?
A: No—this is a coaching-based service that provides self-care education, not hands-on treatment. While a Registered Massage Therapist leads it, it's considered wellness guidance, not a clinical massage session.

Q: Can I claim this under my insurance benefits?
A: Unfortunately, no. Insurance providers typically only reimburse for in-person massage therapy, which is considered educational and not eligible for coverage.

Q: What do I need for the session?
A: A quiet space, access to Zoom, and a few household tools like a pillow, foam roller, or lacrosse ball.

Q: Who is this service best for?
A: It's ideal for people managing pain or tension at home, those in recovery between sessions, caregivers looking for guidance, or anyone who prefers support without travel.

Q: Will I get a written plan or follow-up?
A: Yes! You'll receive simple tips or a short follow-up summary by email to help you implement what we discuss.
